Soho Home Melrose has been a consistently disappointing retail experience. Despite spending around $30k with Soho Home in the past month, I always feel unwelcome when visiting the store. The staff seem disengaged, and their assistance feels reluctant. For example, when placing a large order last month, I spoke to Felix about the delivery timeline via email. Unfortunately, he couldn’t provide any more information than what I could already see online. He offered to keep me updated as and when the items were available for dispatch, to which I responded would be greatly appreciated, but I never heard back. Today, when I called to request a swatch for a rug I’m considering, I was placed on hold and then abruptly disconnected. After a couple more attempts, I finally got through, yet there was no apology and I was told, "You can just order it online".

Love this store so much. Kimberly and her team were incredibly helpful. My house looks amazing its fully furnished with the most gorgeous items.

There are a handful of issues with this store.

First, there is never any parking. Even in the back. Half of backside is taken up by a valet. I had to move my vehicle 3 times. By the third time, I figured I am done with this place. There is no way of getting furniture out as well. Cars are blocking all exit ways.

Second, the customer service: Older blonde lady in a blazer providers terrible service and interaction.

She look’s constantly bothered with questions by the customers walking around. She was making these sigh or “ughh” noises as she spoke to people.

Yet she appears to have no issues providing service to non-colored folks. We seen her interact more with whites unfortunately.

I wanted to order a bar cart for a client with them. A lady by the name of Romana answered the phone, asked me for the SKU and told me that with my trade discount for this item would be an additional 20% off. We discussed the trade discount in length after putting me on hold and calling me back and emailing me. I went over number with her, saying out loud the price breakdown which she agreed to. We discussed the difference between the member pricing and the trade pricing. Unfortunately she denies ever telling me that I would get 20% off and gets loud and hangs up the phone without the conversation being finished. Very poorly run. Upsetting since it is a new home decor store in the area and wanted to work with them but will no longer be.
